I don't have my Cintiq at present, as I'm sending it in to have it looked at (the DVI-D input doesn't work correctly), so I'm using my old Graphire 3 tablet right now. Okay.
The working space of the Graphire is 4:3, while my new monitor is 16:10. Naturally, the width of the screen is compressed on the tablet to make it fit, and it actually doesn't feel that strange at all. I could get used to it. Okay.
BUT
When I open Photoshop or Painter, the horizontal working space on the tablet suddenly changes to trying to fit the entire screen within about 2/3 of the tablet. Got that? It's already compressing a 16:10 ratio into 4:3, but when opening painting programs, it suddenly wants to make it worse. It's doing the opposite of what it's supposed to! (Not that a tablet can widen itself, but you get the idea). And this only happens in PS and Painter (and maybe some other programs I haven't tried...).
Suffice it to say, this makes it unworkable. Guess I'll just have to wait for my Cintiq to get there and back (which both has its own screen and it the same ratio as my monitor).
Like seriously, what the hell?
In other news, I recently realized Twilight Princess, as much as I love to rag on it, has beaten out Wind Waker as my favourite Zelda. Go figure.

And to think I was so excited about G/S.. this made me never want to play another Pokemon game
Aw, I'm sorry, Vitz. I hate people who steal so much.
it's alright, I'm slowly getting over it.. I don't think I'll collect events if I start playing again though.
I can definitely understand not going after the events again.
there's always ebay... hahahah, I wouldn't do that though. Guess I'll just refine my chaining skills and start a shiny collection from scratch.
